1) booked the rbusiness room king bed. they first gave me a room with 2 single beds. had to go down to lobby again to change the room.The lifts are so dirty, the carpet has never been cleand since the construction, a mix ov vomit, and other traces better nt make an analysis.In the night, i felt cold, and just discovered the aircon was broken, the thermostat didn''t worked and the aircon was only moving the air without heating at all... too late for a repairation nor to change room again.in the morning i reported the AC is broken. the attendant in the lobby has the mervellous answer "we will repair it" and went back to it''s occupations without even asking me the room number : means "i don''t care at all" in mandarin.So good location near bar street and south city wall, easy access, easy parking on the street in evening. good internet connection, free cable .rooms are ok, and if you are lucky to get one on the rear VERY QUIET not a noise at all. i like the hotel just for that...avoid room 818 for broken AIR CON they will certainly never repairedbut good hotel for week endfor the FUN :just before the south city wall ther is a "restaurant & Bar" called GUEVARAlooks very nice. but it''s a restaurant you can not eat ! when i asked if i can eat at 7pm, they were looking helpless and paniqued : meyou !... hope it''s bar you can drink at least !
We booked this hotel via ctrip.com - a popular Travelocity-ish site in China - as part of our flight/hotel package deal. Even though the fee was pre-paid, the hotel required RMB 300 as deposit during check-in. If you are not famiilar with this custom in China, be aware and not to loose the receipt for your deposit. You will need it to get your money back. The location is pretty good, within a short walk distance to Parkson & the Drum Tower. The neighborhood is safe as it's right off the main street. A taxi drive to Shaanxi Historic Museum from the hotel cost us RMB 17 and to Xi'an train station, RMB 15. The hotel has a Japanese and a Chinese restaurant next door but I would recommend you going to the Muslin quarter to get a smoke free restaurant environment. The bed is a little bit hard for me but very clean. The bathroom is spacious enough but I wish they have a full glass slide door or a shower curtain in the shower. The half sized glass fixture didn't work quite well for us. The toiletried can meet the basic needs, shampoo (a little bit harsh) but no conditioners. Everything else in the room has a small label with a marked price on them. As a general rule, I strongly recommend you brining your own toiletries when you travel in China. The staff are polite but not speaking much English. The breakfast included in the hotel rate (for additional RMB15) has good Chinese selections with lots of vegetables, but it starts at 7AM so if you plans to travel earlier during the day, e.g. to catch an earlier morning flight, don't purchase the breakfast.My overral rating of the hotel is very good, if I only get to pick is the checking out process took very long - the staff at the front desk will call up somebody to actually go into your room to check if you used/consumed anything with priced labeld before they return you the deposit. For this and the fact that the staff doesn't speak much English, I rated the service in three stars.

我们在这酒店入住2晚,第一天前台Check in的时候说我们是华旅预定的。然后正常办手续,傍边有个工作人员说今天华旅来的都安排商务房。去之前我订的大床房,还好没有什么改变。然后被安排到了620房间,环境还可以,电话手柄上有脏东西没有擦干净。晚上睡觉被吵醒很多次。第一次是由于酒店的后面是居民房。深夜大概3点左右有人在打架,好像要发生命案一样的大声狂叫,吓人的很。第二次是凌晨5点左右,旁边屋子就有放水的声音,很大声。一会又有许多人在大声的说话,是个广州团,很大声。我们和前台联系,也是于事无补的样子,后来我和老公去找他们呢个团,才看见我们旁边放水的呢间屋子是间备餐房,对面是餐厅~ 怪不得广州人,只怪酒店。这是什么道理?餐厅居然会安排在酒店的6层还和客房挨着。突然想起Check in 时呢个工作人员说的话~~坚决要求换房。我们找他们前台理论,只说当时没有跟我们说明,一直到结账时连句对不起都没有说。还说呢间客房是不够住的时候,客人非要才给的,我们又没有非要住,这样的客房谁去住呢~本来我们去旅游的就比较疲惫,休息对我们很重要。我一点都不喜欢这间酒店和酒店的服务。大家最好也不要订。
The hotel has a ''SPECIAL'' service, that is a mid-night call to your room. If your wife answer the call, it hangs up. If you answer, a lady will ask if you want any health service - sounds yellow.We had five rooms, all except the ladies'' room, were given the service. Very annoying for being waken up at mid-night. Despite informed the reception, mid-night calls carried on for the next two nights. After practically bang at the reception table during our last day stay, the calls finally stopped.The location of the hotel is just great. Cleaniness is not up to par. The house keeping hardly vacuum the floor. They have two shifts of personnel at the reception, one shift ids friendlier than the other.For your information, the reception mashed our Ctrip booking, resulting calls after calls to elaborate the incidence. I would certainly enjoy more for not encountering such tempermental chattel staff.
