All Location but nothing else. Initial booking had no stipulation it was a Windowless basement room in the online confirmation.Both Ctrip and Days Inn denied culpability. Given the hour, i had to upgrade to a Room with a view [window] and it only gotworse from there. The alley facing my room in the hutong was undergoing construction work 24/7 with those head pounding , nauseating noise. Earplugs DID NOT help.Needless to say , when i checked out the following morning for a better hotel, and complained about the lack of warning about the "noise", all they did was shrugged.Clearly, this hotel is clueless when it comes to customer service.
awfull service location is perfect, but due to noisy construction work, the nights haven´t been relaxed and peacefull, this will take at least further 6 months of ongoing noise.service is very slow and unefficent, all offered tours are overcharged and no reliable information is provided.
